Product
What does TestHub test?
Web applications: browser journeys with Playwright, and HTTP APIs. UI and API scenarios are separate types.
Does it only work with SolidX apps?
No. It works with any web application. SolidX-built apps simply connect with less setup.
We already use Playwright. Why TestHub?
TestHub runs Playwright. It adds what you do not have: knowing what to test, measuring what is covered, and authoring at agent speed with review.
Do I need the CLI?
No. Everything is configured in the portal. The optional solidctl CLI runs the same scenarios locally or in CI.
What happens when a run fails?
You get a whole-run video, the browser console, the network log, and API requests and responses for each step.
Is mobile app testing supported?
It is in progress. Today TestHub covers web UI and API testing. Mobile app testing is being built on the same discover, author, run loop.
What is not supported today?
Accessibility testing, load and performance testing, and visual regression testing. Notifications go out by email and webhook rather than native Jira or Slack connectors.
Agent
What is the SolidX Agent?
A chat panel built into the TestHub portal. Discovery, authoring, and other AI tasks all run through it.
Can we use our own AI tools instead?
Yes. Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, and Cursor connect over MCP to the same governed tools.
Do we pay for AI through you?
No. You bring your own model. We never resell it at a markup.
Will AI-written tests be reliable?
Nothing enters your suite without a human accepting it. Scenarios follow one structured vocabulary, so you review a readable change, not a black box.
Security
Can the agent change our code?
No. Access is read-only and scoped to one application. There is no write access and no shell.
Does the agent ever see our Git tokens or passwords?
No. Tokens are encrypted server-side and never exposed. The agent references secrets by name, never by value.
Can we run TestHub on our own servers?
Yes. The Enterprise plan is fully self-hosted. Nothing leaves your network.
Is security scanning included?
Yes, on every plan: static code analysis, dependency vulnerabilities, and committed secrets.

How is TestHub priced?
Flat plans based on how many tests run at the same time. Contact us for current pricing.
Are there per-seat or usage fees?
No. Unlimited applications, tests, and users on every plan, with no usage meters.
